The 2012 Malibu Music Awards invites you to join them and the Malibu Community VIP’s & Celebrities on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 7:30 PM 2012 at the Malibu Civic Theater for the annual 2012 Malibu Music Awards & Festival in celebration of the success, achievements and accomplishments of those who have made a significant contribution to the music industry and the discovery of emerging new talent and upcoming stars. 

The Malibu Music Awards & Festival benefits the Malibu Symphony Association 501c3 and children’s music programs and community music efforts, with a portion of the proceeds donated to The Simms Mann Center for Integrative Oncology in recognition of the upcoming October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Terence Davis Terence Davis, founder of The Malibu Music Awards and Malibu Music Festival, began as a musician in many bands. Terence started Great Music in 1998 as a supplier of audio for the toy industry. He then expanded his enterprise to include songs, jingles & sound design for Radio, TV, theater & Film. Terence has written songs and jingles for Coca-Cola, Disney, National Lampoon, TBS, Mega Blocks, GE, and earned a nomination for the prestigious Ovation Award for Sound Design for the studio's work on the stage production of “Sideman” in 2004. He received an honorable mention from ASCAP and is renown in the industry as a creative visionary and consumate professional.

His Film Credits include: National Lampoon Thanksgiving Family Reunion (8 songs) , The Gift (Stuart Altman) The Gambler, The Girl and The Gunslinger, and is currently composing for several new films. He has composed music for over 30 commercials. He wrote the musical score for 2010 West of Broadway's “Mrs. Scrooge” and has composed the theme song for the world premiere of “A Night At the Oscars”. In addition he has composed and created sound design for Malibu Stage Company's productions of Collected Stories, Glorious!, Diva, Looking for Normal, A Night At the Oscars, and “The Scene”. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Malibu Symphony Association, Pepperdine University Crest Associates, and Malibu Stage Company
